KEY OF SONG
Q: HOW DO I KNOW WHAT KEY I SING IN?
A: To determine a suitable key for the song you wish to sing, you need to know what your vocal range is i.e. your lowest and highest comfortable singing note. If you supply this information to webmaster@protrax.co.za, they will be able to assist you to determine a suitable key before you place your order.
Example: “I am in interested in buying “My Heart Will Go On” by Celine Dion, but I am not sure whether I will be able to reach all the notes. The lowest note I can sing is G below middle C and my highest is the second D above middle C.”
Keep in mind that if you sing a certain song in for example Fmaj, you will not necessarily sing all your songs in that key. It will differ from song to song.
Q: CAN I ORDER THE TRACK IN A DIFFERENT KEY ONLINE?
A: The backtracks on our website are all in the original keys. Should you need the track in a different key you can simply fill in the “Request a track in a different key” form or submit your request to webmaster@protrax.co.za. We will check whether the key you require is available and notify you via email as soon as the key is available for download.

Keep in mind that you are not allowed to change or translate the lyrics or the structure of the song without written permission from the publisher or songwriter. DEMOS ON WEBSITE

A: In most cases, the demo should start playing in a few seconds without interruption. If you hear no audio, confirm whether your sound is turned on and that your speaker volume is not muted. Demos are supplied in mp3 format, thus a compatible browser like firefox or internet explorer is required.

DOWNLOADING TRACK
Q: WHAT DO I DO IF I COULDN’T DOWNLOAD THE TRACK WITHIN THE REQUIRED TIME?
A: There is a 48 hour window in which to download your purchase. Should you be unable to complete your download within this allotted time, contact webmaster@protrax.co.za .
Q: HOW DO I DOWNLOAD MY TRACK?
A: Downloading is the process of copying a file (such as music) from one computer to another across the internet. When you download a song from our website, it means you are copying it from our web server to your own computer.
Here's how to download a file using Internet Explorer and Windows XP. (This is just an example) If you're using a different browser such as Netscape Navigator or a different version of Windows, your screens may look a little different, but the same basic steps should work.
1. Click on the download link for the song you want to download (it will appear after your payment have been processed).
2. You may be asked if you want to save the file or run it from its current location. If you are asked this question, select "Save." If not, don't worry -- some browsers will automatically choose "Save" for you.
3. You will then be asked to select the folder where you want to save the file, using a standard "Save As" dialog box. Pay attention to which folder you select before clicking the "Save" button. It may help you to create a folder like "C:"Download" for all of your downloaded music, but you can use any folder you'd like.
4. The download will now begin. Your web browser will keep you updated on the progress of the download by showing a progress bar that fills up as you download. You will also be reminded where you're saving the file. The file will be saved as "C:"Download"dweepsetup.exe" in the picture below.
Note:
You may also see a check box labeled "Close this dialog box when download completes." If you see this check box, it helps to uncheck this box. You don't have to, but if you do, it will be easier to find the file after you download it.
5. Depending on which song you're downloading and how fast your connection is, it may take anywhere from a few seconds to a few minutes to download. When your download is finished, if you left the "Close this dialog box when download completes" option unchecked, you'll see a dialog box like this one:
6. Now click the "Open" button to play the file you just downloaded. If you don't see the "Download complete" dialog box, open the folder where you saved the file and double-click on the icon for the song there.
7. If you do not have any other music player software installed this should automatically launch Windows Media Player, from where, your downloaded song can be added to your album or simply burned onto CD.
